Top 5 Offline Travel Apps You MUST Have!

If you're a traveller like me and love to travel places but also love to stay connected online that's great because this list is for those times when you don't have wifi or bad connection (which happens often while traveling).

These are my 5 offline apps you neeeeeed. Please, thank you, okay now let's get started.

1. Pocket - Offline Reading

With Pocket you can save website articles, pictures etc that you want to view offline. When you're on Google you can use save all the articles so easily to the app and then read them anytime. This is so useful and I personally use this to save Pinterest articles all the time.

2. Google Maps (Offline)

This is one of my favourite things to use while traveling as I can't stand going on holiday solo and getting lost and wandering around with my backpack or suitcase feeling exhausted from a long train, bus or plane ride and not knowing how to get to my hotel or hostel. You can save maps offline with the normal Google Maps app on your phone. Be aware that they do expire usually after 30 days and you may need to update them or download them again.

3. Reading Apps: Kindle or iBooks or Wattpad

iBooks is for IOS only so I've included Wattpad and Kindle to have some diversity. The apps themselves aren't entirely offline but once you download or save a book you can read offline so I've included these in this list as reading is one of my favourite things to do especially on long transport rides.

4. Rail Planner (for train times in Europe)

This is perfect if you're using Eurail and need to check train times but aren't connected to wifi.

5. Tripit - Organisation

Tripit is a way to keep track of all your travel itinerary documents such as: flights, buses, trains, tickets etc. all in one app. It integrates from the emails you receive and stores all of those important documents for you to easily access.

Thanks for reading as always,

Later guys,

Anna
